• Account credentials if you register or log in on our website or app.
• Communications you send us — enquiries, feedback, grievances, call recordings and chat transcripts with our support team.

• To generate insurance quotes, compare plans across our 50+ insurer partners, and facilitate policy issuance.
• To verify your identity (KYC) as required under IRDAI regulations.

• To assist with claims intimation, claims assistance and after-sales servicing.
• To respond to enquiries, complaints and grievances.
• To send policy-related communication, renewal reminders and service updates via SMS, email, WhatsApp or call.
• To send promotional communication about products and offers, where you have not opted out.
• To improve our website, app and Services, and for internal analytics and fraud prevention.

3. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

As an insurance broker, sharing your information with insurers is essential to our Services. We may share your information with:

• Insurance companies and underwriters, for generating quotes, issuing policies and processing claims.
• Payment gateways and banking partners, solely to process premium payments.
• IRDAI and other regulators, courts or law-enforcement authorities, where required by law.
• Our employees, POSP partners and authorised service providers, on a need-to-know basis and under confidentiality obligations.
• Third-party technology vendors who help us operate the website or app, such as hosting and analytics providers, bound by data-protection terms.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their independent marketing use.

4. Data Storage, Retention and Security

Your data is stored on servers located in India, in line with IRDAI's data-localisation requirements for insurance intermediaries. We retain policy and transaction records for the period mandated by IRDAI (generally the policy term plus applicable record-retention norms, currently up to 10 years or as prescribed), and other personal data for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above or as required by law.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards — including access controls, encryption in transit, and restricted internal access — to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Regulatory Disclaimer

First Advisor Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd. is a licensed Direct Insurance Broker (IRDAI License No. 584, valid till 07-02-2029). IRDAI and its officials do not engage in activities such as selling insurance policies, declaring bonuses, or investing premiums. If you receive suspicious calls or offers claiming to be from IRDAI, please file a police report. Insurance products displayed on our platform are subject to approval by the respective insurers.
